Research Analyst

Content – Fundamentals – Document Acquisition

The Document Acquisition Sourcing Team will create a process to procure global public filings from service providers, securities and exchange commissions, stock exchanges, company websites, phone calls, emails, etc.

The primary role of an analyst is to collect company financial reports from publicly listed companies using the stock exchanges, corporate websites and various sources to ensure the most complete and timely offering available in the market. Responsibilities include building and maintaining the universe of coverage, identifying relevant documents, and sourcing documents that are not automatically received or may be missing. Build the beginnings of an application to proactively track upcoming / expected document availability as well as a workflow to track missing documents. Provide relevant documents to the internal database. Documenting of best practices and policies.

Job responsibilities:

  • Timely sourcing of listed company financial reports and other documents and ensure complete coverage.
  • Maintains the coverage lists. Maintains relevant statistical information concerning intake and reporting periods, backlogs, timeliness, etc.
  • Continuously identifies and recommends new sources to Content Acquisition group.
  • Supports clients on documents queries.
  • Provides support to Fundamentals Operations in ensuring availability of reports for update at all time.
  • Performs a variety of other duties as required and requested.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course preferably with financial or business-related degree
