Facilities Manager (Engineering Focus)

Our client is a Asian based financial institution with a strong presence globally. They are currently inviting individuals to join as Facilities Engineer (Manager Level) for their Manila Operations. The organization is currently with 100 FTE where it will expand to over 300 FTE in the next 12-18 months.

The successful hire shall be responsible for the overall Facilities management of the Manila Operations. He/She shall also management the Business Services and provide Facilities support to regional offices such as Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Responsibilities includes review and management the mechanical facilities and equipment, fire protection system, design documents, technical specification, test procedures and overall maintenance. He/she will be working closely with relevant vendors and individuals within the organization locally and regionally.

Requirements:

• Obtained an Engineering Background discipline with at least 10 years experience
• Exposure in working in a BPO / Center of Excellence environment where the office runs 24×7 (though this role does not required to work on shifts)
• Mature individual able to deal with multiple levels on a daily basis
• Good Communication skills
• Traveling to overseas will be expected for this position
• Exposure in working in or with an environment supporting Financial Institutions would be ideal
• Candidates with a strong focus of design and office planning is not suitable for this position. This position requires the individual with a strong focus of technical (mechanical & electrical) background.
