Development Team Lead

The Information Technology Group is responsible for:

• managing the Bank’s technology infrastructure
• supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing business systems
• delivering and deploying new systems, technologies and services

Technology plays a critical role within the Bank and IT group provides each business unit with a dedicated account team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs. IT group is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our Manila Operations as the Development Team Lead for ITS Software Services. In this role your responsibilities will include:

• managing the local Software Services development and testing teams to ensure delivery of new features and enhancements to agreed schedules and budgets
• promoting the development and testing capability of Software Services within the Bank
• ensuring that requests from multiple customers are dealt with efficiently such that all requests receive timely attention and service
• developing a strategy and appropriate toolsets to ensure that multiple business units can be engaged simultaneously, and to define standard engagement models
• developing and publishing metrics by which the team’s success can be measured
• responsibility for direction of staff in both development and testing diciplines
• development of multiple applications and services in the Software Services portfolio

• able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Required experience:

• University degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent
• at least 10 years of global application development experience
• minimum of 3 years related leadership experience in similar role
• experience of building pioneering teams and the migration of application development and testing to an of-shore facility
• demonstrate successful provision of development and testing capability to a global community
• strong knowledge related to actual development languages in C#, .NET and Java is a must

Experience in the following would be considered an advantage:

• supporting applications within an investment banking environment
